WHAT YOU VISIT
Sirince Village The village is famous for its local grape and other fruit wines, and features a charming church dedicated to St John. Lunch will be arranged in a local home to taste and understand the real culture of the village This small mountain village boasts a single market lane. Browse among the tented stalls; bargain for a souvenir or local handicraft, and take in the colorful sights and sounds.
Ancient Ephesus : Enter through the Magnesia Gate and begin a slow, downhill walk with your guide into the ruins of this Roman provincial capital. Your route takes you past the Odeon, the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the Great Theater. The theater had seating for 25,000, which was the site where St. Paul preached to the Ephesians, and is used today for a local spring festival.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
From the pier, drive through countryside dotted with vineyards, olive orchards and cotton plantations, passing Ephesus, to Selcuk. Your route climbs into the hills to the village of Sirince. After your visit, return to the Ancient Ephesus following which you will return to Kusadasi, where you may either choose to take in a carpet exhibition, or shop on your own in the bazaars. Walk back to the ship at your leisure.
