Throughout much of its history Rhodes had a thriving Jewish Community. During World War II, Nazi Germany occupied the island and deported the Jews.
Tour Itinerary
Visit the Jewish Quarter, "La Juderia," with the Square of the Martyred Jews, as well as the "Kahal Shalom" Synagogue and the Rhodes Jewish Museum, which maintains a history of the community. You will also stop at the Jewish Cemetery in the new city - the best preserved in Europe.
The tour will also cover several highlights of the Rhodes Old Town, New Town and Lindos (35 miles from Rhodes town).

We have noted that this is not available on Saturdays. It may be that on some Shabbats, they will allow visitors but we cannot be certain. This will also include Jewish holidays.
Approximately 270 steps and cobblestone pathways lead to the Acropolis of Lindos. A shuttle bus is available to transfer visitors from the coach parking to Lindos Village. Passengers with physical limitations are requested to consider this. Please be aware ongoing restoration work is often carried out. The drive from Rhodes Town to Lindos is approximately one hour long each way
