Sirince Village The village is famous for its local grape and other fruit wines, and features a charming church dedicated to St John. Lunch will be arranged in a local home to taste and understand the real culture of the village this small mountain village boasts a single market lane. Browse among the tented stalls; bargain for a souvenir or local handicraft, and take in the colorful sights and sounds.
Ancient Ephesus: Enter through the Magnesia Gate and begin a slow, downhill walk with your guide into the ruins of this Roman provincial capital. Your route takes you past the Odeon, the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the Great Theater. The theater had seating for 25,000, which was the site where St. Paul preached to the Ephesians, and is used today for a local spring festival.

Your guide escorts you to a store around Selcuk your rendezvous point after experiencing the marketplace. Take in a carpet-weaving demonstration or explore the Bazaar, where the shops are organized by the wares they sell. The narrow alleys are filled with shops offering jewelry, carpets, leather ware, copper goods and more. Bargaining is expected - and half the fun.
